Balincaguin Conservancy Grotto

The maritime school of Pangasinan Merchant Marine Academy (Perez Blvd., Dagupan City) conducted a one-day "Spelunking Tour" in Cacupangan Caves Resort, Mabini, Pangasinan.

It was participated by fifty one (51) students and six faculty members from the HRM and Tourism Departments respectively.

It was the first tour ever of the first year students of the departments. The experience is really unforgettable for the students who particpated in the trekking activity from Mabini Town Proper to the resort area, spelunking in the cave and of course the socialization and collaboration with one another.

And one more thing here is that the students realization in the preservation of natural beauty for the future generations.

Note - The visitors were divided into 4 groups and entered the cave at 15 minute intervals to avoid overlapping of groups and minimize the impact to the cave. Each group were guided by 3 or more BC members. Even the non-swimmers were able to go through the swim areas with the help of the guides. All had exciting time! - pub
